Intergenerational Ministry Book Club

The IG Ministry UMC Book Club is a place where leaders in ministry come together to review and discuss theoretical and practical wisdom that can deepen and strengthen our ministry.

We gather suggestions from leaders in the field paying attention to books that speak directly to ministry that affirms all people’s joint-participation in God’s work in and for the transformation of the world.

Some books will be targeted to church professionals while others will appeal to all thoughtful persons of faith.

Each book will have a time frame listed where persons are invited to read the book and share comments and thoughts online via this discussion group. Rev. Dr. Tanya Marie Eustace, Director of Children and Intergenerational Ministries at Discipleship Ministries for the United Methodist Church will moderate.

On the first day of the listed time segment, Rev. Dr. Tanya Eustace will begin the discussion, and then over the course of the listed timeline readers are invited to chime in, at their own convenience, with insights, perspectives, or questions. This book club is open to everyone.
